Who we are

Solution Coffee helps you discover and buy whole-bean coffee from independent roasters and explore recipes and brewing tools in Brew Lab. The website is operated by Third Fold LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, referred to here as “Solution Coffee,” “we,” or “us.”

These terms explain use of our website and purchases placed with us. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling; Shipping & Returns explains fulfillment and order problems. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Shopping with Solution Coffee

You may buy individual bags and multiple-bag orders without enrolling in recurring payments. New subscriptions are not currently offered. Take the quiz if you would like a suggested coffee; recommendations reflect your answers and are not a guarantee that a particular coffee will suit your taste.

Provide accurate contact and delivery details, have authority to use your payment method, and have legal capacity to make the purchase. Please check the coffee, bag size, whole-bean format, quantity, address and total before paying.

Listings identify the coffee and its roaster. Tasting notes describe sensory characteristics rather than added ingredients unless the listing expressly says otherwise. Coffee is an agricultural product, so crops, packaging and appearance can vary. Styled product images may differ from the package delivered. Material product details must still match the item offered.

Prices, payment and order confirmation

Prices are in US dollars. Applicable shipping, tax and discounts are shown at checkout before payment. Stripe provides the secure payment fields used in our checkout. Payment options shown there may have their own provider terms, including optional Stripe Link services.

An order/payment confirmation is not a shipping confirmation. Partner roasters prepare and ship orders, and a multi-roaster order may arrive in separate packages. Contact Solution Coffee for order assistance; we coordinate with the relevant roaster.

If an item becomes unavailable, an order contains a material listing error, or we cannot fulfill an order, we will contact you about the available options. We will not charge an additional amount or make a material substitution without your agreement. When an order is cancelled, any refund due is handled under Shipping & Returns and applicable law.

Future price changes apply to future purchases. They do not authorize us to increase the amount of a completed purchase without your agreement.

Shipping, changes and refunds

See our Shipping & Returns Policy for delivery estimates, separate shipments, address corrections, cancellation requests and damaged, incorrect or missing orders. Email support@solution.coffee with your order number promptly if something needs attention. Do not send full card numbers or payment credentials.

Solution Coffee remains your contact for resolving a purchase made through this website, including when a partner roaster ships it.

Brew Lab and optional AI assistance

Brew Lab provides educational recipes, calculators and guided timers. Attributed recipes identify their sources. Our dose adaptations and optional AI suggestions are separate from the original author's documented recipe. We do not represent shop coffees as the original competition coffees or tested equivalents.

Results vary with coffee, water, grinder and equipment. Follow equipment manufacturers' instructions, respect brewer capacity and handle hot water and pressurized equipment carefully. A timer or calculator does not replace your judgment about safe equipment use.

If enabled, the optional AI coach can make mistakes and may be unavailable or limited. It provides general brewing suggestions, not verified research, medical advice or order-support decisions. Check advice against the published recipe and equipment instructions. Do not submit sensitive, personal or payment information. Any AI feature is subject to the age and availability restrictions stated with it and described in our Privacy Policy.

Respectful and permitted use

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with checkout, evade AI usage limits, submit malicious code, or use our services unlawfully. We may restrict abusive activity or suspend a tool to protect users and service availability. That does not remove our obligations concerning an existing order.

Our branding, original writing and original design are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party brands, recipes and linked materials remain subject to their owners' rights. Ordinary personal use of Brew Lab and linking to our pages are welcome; do not claim authorship of others' work.

Links, availability and responsibility

External source links lead to independently operated websites with their own terms. A recipe attribution is not a claim of sponsorship or endorsement.

We aim to keep the store and tools accurate and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or error-free educational/AI content. We will address material order errors through our support and refund process. These terms do not exclude responsibility for fraud or any liability, warranty or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Updates and questions

These terms take effect when published. The date above identifies this version. Material changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law; they do not retroactively remove rights attached to an earlier order. Where notice or agreement is required, we will provide it.

These terms are governed by applicable Illinois law, without excluding mandatory consumer protections available under the law that applies to you.

Test-store notice

While the website and checkout are marked as a sandbox or test store, orders are tests: no real payment is taken and no coffee will ship. Test confirmations may be routed to a designated test inbox. Do not use live payment credentials in a test checkout. The Privacy Policy still applies to information you submit.
